Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
शक्रस्य तु वच: श्रुत्वा नाहं प्रीतमनाभवम् । अब्रुवंश्व तदा हृष्टो देवराजमिदं वच:
śakrasya tu vacaḥ śrutvā nāhaṃ prītamanābhavam | abruvaṃś ca tadā hṛṣṭo devarājam idaṃ vacaḥ ||
ശക്രന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടിട്ടും ഞാൻ ഉള്ളിൽ സന്തോഷപ്പെട്ടില്ല. എങ്കിലും പുറമേ സന്തോഷം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ച് ദേവരാജനോട് ഞാൻ ഈ വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
