निरुद्धिग्नस्तु यो दद्यान्मासमेकं गवाह्विकम्‌ | एकभक्तं तथाश्नीयाच्छुयतां तस्य यत्‌ फलम्‌,जो उद्धवेगरहित होकर एक मासतक प्रतिदिन गौको भोजन देता है और स्वयं एक ही समय खाता है, उसे जो फल मिलता है, उसका वर्णन सुनो

niruddhignas tu yo dadyān māsam ekaṁ gavāhvikam | ekabhaktaṁ tathāśnīyāc chruyatāṁ tasya yat phalam |

അശാന്തിയില്ലാതെ ഒരു മാസം മുഴുവൻ ദിനംപ്രതി പശുവിന് അതിന്റെ ആഹാരം നൽകുകയും, താൻ ദിവസത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രം ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഫലം കേൾക്കുക.
