अध्याय १३२ — कर्मणा मनसा वाचा: स्वर्गमार्गः तथा आयुर्विपाकः
Adhyāya 132 — The path to heaven through deed, mind, and speech; karmic results for lifespan
श्रीरुवाच प्रकीर्ण भाजनं यत्र भिन्नभाण्डमथासनम् । योषितश्वैव हन्यते कश्मलोपहते गृहे
śrīr uvāca—prakīrṇa-bhājanaṃ yatra bhinna-bhāṇḍam atha āsanam | yoṣitaś caiva hanyate kaśmalopahate gṛhe ||
ശ്രീ (ലക്ഷ്മി) പറഞ്ഞു—പാത്രങ്ങൾ ചിതറിക്കിടക്കുന്ന, ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ പൊട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന, ഇരിപ്പിടങ്ങൾ കീറിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന, കൂടാതെ സ്ത്രീകളെ അടിക്കുകയും അപമാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന വീടു പാപംകൊണ്ട് മലിനമാകുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ മലിനമായ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉത്സവത്തിലും പർവ്വത്തിലും ദേവന്മാരും പിതൃക്കളും നിരാശരായി മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവിടെയുള്ള പൂജ അവർ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയില്ല.
