Adhyāya 122 — Śruta-vṛtta-yukta Brāhmaṇa and the Ethics of Dāna
Maitreya–Vyāsa Saṃvāda
राजपुत्र सुखं प्राप्य क्रतूंश्चैवाप्तदक्षिणान् । अथ मोदिष्यसे स्वर्गे ब्रह्मभूतो5व्यय: सुखी
rājaputra sukhaṃ prāpya kratūṃś caivāptadakṣiṇān | atha modiṣyase svarge brahmabhūto 'vyayaḥ sukhī ||
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജകുമാരാ! നീ ലോകസുഖങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ച്, യഥാവിധി ദക്ഷിണകളോടുകൂടിയ യാഗകർമ്മങ്ങൾ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച് സ്വർഗത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും. തുടർന്ന് ബ്രഹ്മനോടൊന്നായി—അവിനാശിയും ശാന്തസ്വഭാവിയും ആയി—അക്ഷയാനന്ദം അനുഭവിക്കും.
