वसामि फुल्लासु च पद्मिनीषु नक्षत्रवीथीषु च शारदीषु । गजेषु गोछ्ठेषु तथा55सनेषु सर:सु फुल्लोत्पलपड्कजेषु
bhīṣma uvāca | vasāmi phullāsu ca padminīṣu nakṣatravīthīṣu ca śāradīṣu | gajeṣu goṣṭheṣu tathāsaneṣu saraḥsu phullotpalapaṅkajeṣu ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പൂർണ്ണമായി വിരിഞ്ഞ താമരകളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ പദ്മിനികളിലും, ശരദ്കാലത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മല ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രവീഥികളിലും, മഹത്തായ ഗജങ്ങളിലുമും നന്നായി പരിപാലിച്ച ഗോശാലകളിലുമും, ഉത്തമാസനങ്ങളിലുമും, വിരിഞ്ഞ നീലോത്പലവും താമരയും അലങ്കരിക്കുന്ന സരോവരങ്ങളിലുമാണ് ഞാൻ സദാ വസിക്കുന്നത്.
