ब्राह्मणान् पूजयेच्चापि तथा स्नात्वा नराधिप । देवांश्व॒ प्रणमेत् स्नातो गुरूंश्वाप्पभिवादयेत्
brāhmaṇān pūjayec cāpi tathā snātvā narādhipa | devāṁś ca praṇamet snāto gurūṁś cāpy abhivādayet ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ നരാധിപാ! കുളിച്ച ശേഷം ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരെയും പൂജിക്കണം. ശുദ്ധനായ ശേഷം ദേവന്മാർക്ക് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യണം; ഗുരുക്കന്മാരെയും മുതിർന്നവരെയും ആദരത്തോടെ അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്യണം.
