अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । गौतमस्य मुनेस्तात संवादं वासवस्य च

Transliteration

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | gautamasya munes tāta saṁvādaṁ vāsavasya ca ||

Translation

ഇവിടെയും, പ്രിയനേ, ഒരു പുരാതന ഇതിഹാസം ഉദാഹരണമായി പറയുന്നു—മുനി ഗൗതമനും വാസവൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) ഉം തമ്മിലുള്ള സംവാദം.
