ब्रह्मस्वहरण-निषेधः — Prohibition of Appropriating Brahmin Property

Brahmasva

दानै: पृथग्विधेश्वापि यथा प्राहुर्मनीषिण: । गृहस्थ मनुष्य वेद-शास्त्रोंके स्वाध्यायद्वारा तथा नाना प्रकारके दानोंसे अपने महान्‌ पापको दूर कर देते हैं। जैसा कि मनीषी पुरुषोंका कथन है

dānaiḥ pṛthagvidheṣv api yathā prāhur manīṣiṇaḥ | gṛhasthaḥ manuṣyaḥ veda-śāstrayoḥ svādhyāyadvārā tathā nānā-prakārakaiḥ dānaiḥ svaṃ mahān pāpaṃ dūraṃ karoti, yathā manīṣi-puruṣāṇāṃ kathanam |

ചാണ്ഡാലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“മനീഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ, ഗൃഹസ്ഥൻ വേദ-ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളുടെ സ്വാധ്യായത്തിലൂടെയും നാനാവിധ ദാനങ്ങളിലൂടെയും തന്റെ മഹാപാപം അകറ്റുന്നു.”
