अथागत्य महातेजा भुगुर्ब्रह्मविदां वर: । अगस्त्यमाश्रमस्थं वै समुपेत्येदमब्रवीत्,उसी दिन ब्रह्मवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ महातेजस्वी भूगुजी अपने आश्रमपर बैठे हुए अगस्त्यके निकट आये और इस प्रकार बोले--
athāgatya mahātejā bhṛgur brahmavidāṃ varaḥ | agastyam āśramasthaṃ vai samupetyedam abravīt ||
അപ്പോൾ ബ്രഹ്മവിദ്യയിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ മഹാതേജസ്വി ഭൃഗു, ആശ്രമത്തിൽ ഇരുന്ന അഗസ്ത്യന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു.
