इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें छत्रदान और उपानहदानकी प्रशंसानामक छानबेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi chatradāna-upānahadāna-praśaṃsā-nāmakaḥ ṣaṇṇavati-tamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീമഹാഭാരതത്തിലെ അനുശാസനപർവത്തിലെ ദാനധർമ്മപർവത്തിൽ ‘ചത്രദാനവും ഉപാനഹദാനവും പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നതു’ എന്ന തൊണ്ണൂറ്റാറാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
