भीष्म उवाच इति भूमेर्वच: श्रुत्वा वासुदेव: प्रतापवान्‌ । तथा चकार सतत त्वमप्येवं सदाचर

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | iti bhūmervacaḥ śrutvā vāsudevaḥ pratāpavān | tathā cakāra satataṃ tvam apy evaṃ sadācara ||

Translation

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! ഭൂദേവിയുടെ ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ കേട്ട പ്രതാപശാലിയായ വാസുദേവൻ (ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ) അതനുസരിച്ച് തന്നെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു; ഗാർഹസ്ഥധർമ്മങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹം നിരന്തരം വിധിപൂർവ്വം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. നീയും എപ്പോഴും ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ഈ ധർമ്മങ്ങൾ ആചരിക്കണം.
