Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
श्रियस्तु भाग: संजज्ञे रत्यर्थ पृथिवीतले । भीष्मकस्य कुले साध्वी रुक्मिणी नाम नामत:
śriyastu bhāgaḥ saṃjajñe ratyarthaṃ pṛthivītale | bhīṣmakasya kule sādhvī rukmiṇī nāma nāmataḥ ||
വൈശംപായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭൂതലത്തിൽ ലോകാനന്ദാർത്ഥം ശ്രീ (ലക്ഷ്മി)യുടെ ഒരു അംശം ജനിച്ചു; വിദർഭരാജൻ ഭീഷ്മകന്റെ കുലത്തിൽ സതി-സാധ്വിയായ രുക്മിണി എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ അവൾ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു.
