Vyāsa’s Arrival at Janamejaya’s Sarpasatra; Commissioning of Vaiśaṃpāyana’s Recital (व्यासागमनम्)
सौतिरुवाच ततः स वासुकेरघोरमपनीय मनोज्वरम् । आधाय चात्मनोड्रेषु जगाम त्वरितो भूशम्
Sautir uvāca: tataḥ sa vāsuker aghoram apanīya manojvaram | ādhāya cātmano 'dveṣu jagāma tvarito bhūśam ||
സൗതി പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ അവൻ വാസുകിയുടെ ഭീകരമായ മനോജ്വരം അകറ്റി, ആ ഭാരമൊക്കെയും താനേ ഏറ്റെടുത്തു; വാസുകിയെയും മറ്റു നാഗങ്ങളെയും പ്രാണാപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കാനായി അവൻ അതിവേഗം രാജാവ് ജനമേജയന്റെ സർപ്പയാഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി.
