परिक्षिद्वृत्तान्तप्रश्नः

Inquiry into Parīkṣit’s Conduct and the Beginnings of His Downfall

अथवापि समग्रेण तरन्तु तपसा मम । भवन्त: सर्व एवेह काममेवं विधीयताम्‌,“अथवा मेरी सारी तपस्याके द्वारा भी यदि आप सभी लोग यहाँ इस संकटसे पार हो सकें तो भले ही ऐसा कर लें”

athavāpi samagreṇa tarantu tapasā mama | bhavantaḥ sarva eveha kāmam evaṁ vidhīyatām ||

തക്ഷകൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അല്ലെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ തപസ്സിന്റെ സമഗ്രഫലത്താൽ തന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ഇവിടെ ഈ പ്രതിസന്ധി കടക്കാനാകുമെങ്കിൽ, അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാകട്ടെ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇച്ഛപ്രകാരം ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നെ നടപ്പാക്കപ്പെടട്ടെ.
