तस्मिंस्तदा वर्तमाने कुरुदाशार्हनन्दनौ । समीपं जग्मतुः कंचिदुद्देशे सुमनोहरम्,इस प्रकार जब वहाँ क्रीड़ा-विहारका आनन्दमय उत्सव चल रहा था, उसी समय श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन पासके ही किसी अत्यन्त मनोहर प्रदेशमें गये
tasmiṁstadā vartamāne kurudāśārhanandanau | samīpaṁ jagmatuḥ kañciduddeśe sumanoharam ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അവിടെ ക്രീഡാ-വിഹാരങ്ങളുടെ ആനന്ദോത്സവം നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ, കുരുനന്ദനൻ അർജുനനും ദാശാർഹനന്ദനൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനും സമീപത്തുള്ള അത്യന്തം മനോഹരമായ ഒരു പ്രദേശത്തേക്ക് പോയി.
