ततः सर्वानिवद्याज़ीं तपतीं तपन: स्वयम् । ददौ संवरणस्यार्थ वसिष्ठाय महात्मने,तदनन्तर साक्षात् भगवान् सूर्यने अनिन्द्यसुन्दरी तपतीको राजा संवरणकी पत्नी होनेके लिये महात्मा वसिष्ठको अर्पित कर दिया
tataḥ sarvānivadyāṃ ca tapantīṃ tapanaḥ svayam | dadau saṃvaraṇasyārthe vasiṣṭhāya mahātmane ||
അതിനുശേഷം സ്വയം തപനൻ (സൂര്യദേവൻ) സർവ്വഥാ അനിന്ദ്യയായ തപതിയെ രാജാവ് സംവരണന്റെ ഭാര്യയാകേണ്ടതിനായി മഹാത്മാവായ വസിഷ്ഠനു ഏൽപ്പിച്ചു.
