Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
नक्तं दिनमथैकत्र स्थिते तस्मिउजनाधिपे । अथाजगाम विप्रर्षिस्तदा द्वादशमे5हनि,वे रात-दिन एक ही जगह खड़े होकर तपस्यामें लगे रहे। तब बारहवें दिन महर्षि वसिष्ठका (वहाँ) शुभागमन हुआ
naktaṁ dinam athaikatra sthite tasmin ujanādhipe | athājagāma viprarṣis tadā dvādaśame 'hani ||
ആ ജനാധിപൻ രാവും പകലും ഒരേ സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് തപസ്സിൽ ലീനനായി നിന്നു; തുടർന്ന് പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ദിവസം മഹർഷി വസിഷ്ഠൻ അവിടെ ശുഭമായി എത്തി।
