भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः

पदातींश्व रथांश्चैव न्यवधीदर्जुनाग्रज: । गोपाल इव दण्डेन यथा पशुगणान् वने
padātīṁś ca rathāṁś caiva nyavadhīd arjunāgrajaḥ | gopāla iva daṇḍena yathā paśugaṇān vane ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അർജുനന്റെ അഗ്രജൻ പദാതികളെയും രഥയോദ്ധാക്കളെയും വധിച്ച് അവരെ പിന്നോട്ടോടിച്ചു; വനത്തിൽ ഗോപാലൻ ദണ്ഡംകൊണ്ട് പശുക്കൂട്ടത്തെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.
