इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपववके अन्तर्गत यम्भवपर्वमें अस्त्र- कौशलदर्शनविषयक एक सौ छत्तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi antaragate sambhavaparvaṇi astrakauśaladarśanaviṣayaka ekaśataṣaṭtriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീമഹാഭാരതത്തിന്റെ ആദിപർവത്തിലെ സംഭവപർവത്തിൽ അസ്ത്രകൗശലപ്രദർശനത്തെ സംബന്ധിക്കുന്ന നൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്താറാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
As a colophon, the line does not teach through direct instruction; it frames the preceding material as a unit about weapon-skill. In the Mahābhārata’s ethical horizon, such prowess is significant only when restrained and directed by dharma—otherwise it becomes a cause of ruin.
