ततो विततथन््वानं द्रोणस्तं कुरुनन्दनम् । स मुहूर्तादुवाचेदं वचन भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ] तब धनुष तानकर खड़े हुए कुरुनन्दन युधिष्ठिरसे दो घड़ी बाद आचार्य द्रोणने इस प्रकार कहा--
tato vitatadhanvānaṃ droṇas taṃ kurunandanam | sa muhūrtād uvācedaṃ vacanaṃ bharatarṣabha ||
പിന്നീട് പൂർണ്ണമായി ധനുസ്സു വലിച്ചുനിന്ന കുരുനന്ദനനെ കണ്ട ദ്രോണാചാര്യൻ അല്പനേരം കഴിഞ്ഞ്, ഹേ ഭാരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു।
