न चैनमभ्यजानंस्ते तदा विकृतदर्शनम् | अथीैनं परिपप्रच्छु: को भवान् कस्य वेत्युत,उस समय उसका रूप बदल गया था। पाण्डव उसे पहचान न सके; अतः पूछने लगे --“तुम कौन हो, किसके पुत्र हो?”
na cainam abhyajānans te tadā vikṛtadarśanam | athainaṁ paripapracchuḥ ko bhavān kasya vety uta ||
അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ രൂപം മാറിയിരുന്നു; അതിനാൽ അവർ അവനെ തിരിച്ചറിയാനായില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ അവനോട് ചോദിച്ചു—“നീ ആരാണ്? ആരുടെ പുത്രൻ?”
