Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)
ते तं दृष्टवा महात्मानमुपगम्य कुमारका: । भग्नोत्साहक्रियात्मानो ब्राह्मुणं पर्यवारयन्
te taṃ dṛṣṭvā mahātmānam upagamya kumārakāḥ | bhagnotsāhakriyātmāno brāhmaṇaṃ paryavārayan ||
ആ മഹാത്മാവിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ആ ബാലകർ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അവരുടെ ഉത്സാഹവും ശ്രമവും തകർന്നിരുന്നു; ദുരിതത്തിൽ ആശ്രയം തേടി അവർ ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണനെ ചുറ്റി വലയമായി അടുത്ത് നിന്നു.
