पोथयन्तं महाबाहुं त्वं वै तं ज्ञातुमरहसि । “वह हमलोगोंके पास बेहोशीकी हालतमें आया था
vaishampāyana uvāca | pothayantaṃ mahābāhuṃ tvaṃ vai taṃ jñātum arhasi | “sa hy asmākaṃ samīpaṃ mūrcchitaḥ samāgataḥ, kintu asmābhiḥ daṣṭaḥ san prabuddho bhūtvā saṃjñāṃ prāptaḥ | saṃjñāṃ prāpya tu sa mahābāhuḥ sarvān bandhanān śīghraṃ bhittvā asmān parājayituṃ pravṛttaḥ | tvaṃ gatvā taṃ parijānīhi”
ഞങ്ങളെ അടിച്ചുതകർക്കുന്ന ആ മഹാബാഹുവിനെ നീ തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതാണ്. അവൻ മൂർച്ച്ഛിതനായി ഞങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ കടിച്ചതോടെ അവൻ ഉണർന്ന് ബോധം വീണ്ടെടുത്തു. ബോധം വന്ന ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആ ബലവാൻ തന്റെ എല്ലാ ബന്ധനങ്ങളും വേഗത്തിൽ പൊട്ടിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞ് ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളെ കീഴടക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. നീ ചെന്നു അവനെ തിരിച്ചറിയുക।
