बभूव परमो हर्ष: शतशृड्शनिवासिनाम् | तथा देवनिकायानां सेन्द्राणां च दिवौकसाम्
babhūva paramo harṣaḥ śataśṛṅganivāsinām | tathā devanikāyānāṃ sendrāṇāṃ ca divaukasām |
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ശതശൃംഗത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന തപസ്വി മുനിമാരിൽ പരമാനന്ദം ഉദിച്ചു. അതുപോലെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ദ്രനോടുകൂടിയ ദേവഗണങ്ങളിലും മഹാഹർഷം പടർന്നു. ആ അത്ഭുതമായ ആകാശവാണി കേട്ട്, ലോകധർമ്മം തന്നെ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതുപോലെ അവർ ഉല്ലസിച്ചു।
