Adhyāya 123 — Droṇa’s Pedagogy: Arjuna’s Preeminence, Ekalavya’s Self-Training, and the Bhāsa-Lakṣya Trial
तस्माज्जज्ञे महाबाहुर्भीमो भीमपराक्रम: । तमप्यतिबलं जात॑ वागुवाचाशरीरिणी
tasmāj jajñe mahābāhur bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ | tam apy atibalaṃ jātaṃ vāg uvācāśarīriṇī ||
അവനിൽ നിന്നു (വായുദേവനിൽ നിന്നു) മഹാബാഹുവും ഭീകരപരാക്രമശാലിയുമായ ഭീമൻ ജനിച്ചു. ആ അതിബലവാനായ ശിശു ജനിച്ച ഉടനെ അശരീരവാണി പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു— “ഈ കുമാരൻ ബലവാന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ.”
