The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
अमावास्यां तु सहिता ऋषय: संशितव्रता: । ब्रह्माणं द्रष्टकामास्ते सम्प्रतस्थुर्महर्षय:
amāvāsyāṃ tu sahitā ṛṣayaḥ saṃśitavratāḥ | brahmāṇaṃ draṣṭukāmās te sampratasthur maharṣayaḥ ||
അമാവാസി ദിനത്തിൽ കഠിനവ്രതങ്ങളാൽ നിയന്ത്രിതരായ അനേകം ഋഷി-മഹർഷിമാർ ഒരുമിച്ചു ചേർന്നു. ബ്രഹ്മാവിനെ ദർശിക്കണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ ആ മഹർഷിമാർ ബ്രഹ്മലോകത്തേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
