न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'

ദുഃഖത്തിന് പരിചയമില്ലാത്ത ഈ രണ്ടുപേരും വിഷമിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; ഹേ ഭാരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, നിങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് പോകരുത്. ഈ പാതയിൽ കാറ്റിനേ മാത്രമേ സഞ്ചരിക്കാനാകൂ; സിദ്ധ മഹർഷിമാർക്കും മാത്രമേ കടക്കാനാകൂ. ഈ പർവതരാജനിൽ നടന്ന് പോകുമ്പോൾ ഈ രണ്ടു രാജകുമാരിമാർ എങ്ങനെ കഷ്ടപ്പെടാതിരിക്കും? ഹേ ഭാരതവംശശിരോമണേ, ഈ രണ്ടു രാജ്ഞിമാർ ഇത്തരമൊരു വേദന സഹിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യമല്ല; അതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് പോകരുത്.
