भीष्मस्य चास्य वचनान्नियोगाच्च ममानघ । अनुक्रोशाच्च भूतानां सर्वेषां रक्षणाय च
bhīṣmasya cāsya vacanān niyogāc ca mamānagha | anukrośāc ca bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ rakṣaṇāya ca ||
ഓ നിർമലനേ! ഭീഷ്മന്റെ വാക്കിനോടുള്ള അനുസരണത്താലും എന്റെ നിയോഗത്താലും, കൂടാതെ എല്ലാ ജീവികളോടുമുള്ള കരുണയും എല്ലാവരെയും സംരക്ഷിക്കണമെന്ന ഉദ്ദേശവും കൊണ്ടാണ് ഇത് കൈക്കൊണ്ടത്.
