अध्याय ९६: शरभ-प्रादुर्भावः, नृसिंह-दर्पशमनम्, विष्णोः शिवस्तुतिः, फलश्रुति

एकद्वित्रिचतुःपञ्चकृत्वस् ते ऽस्तु नमोनमः दशकृत्वस्तु साहस्रकृत्वस्ते च नमोनमः

ekadvitricatuḥpañcakṛtvas te 'stu namonamaḥ daśakṛtvastu sāhasrakṛtvaste ca namonamaḥ

ഒരിക്കൽ, രണ്ടിക്കൽ, മൂന്നിക്കൽ, നാലിക്കൽ, അഞ്ചിക്കൽ—നിനക്കു വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും നമോ നമഃ. പത്തിക്കൽ, ആയിരിക്കൽ പോലും നിനക്കു നമോ നമഃ; ഹേ പതി, അനന്തമായി എന്റെ വന്ദനം നിനക്കേ.
