Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It highlights the Shaiva ritual principle of pratiṣṭhā—proper installation and authorization—showing that divine functions (like Gaṇapatya leadership) become effective when established under Śiva’s lordship, reinforcing orderly worship and temple protocol.
By implying that even exalted offices and cosmic authority flow through Śiva’s domain: Pati (Śiva) empowers roles, while devas and others acknowledge that empowerment through reverent submission.
Pratiṣṭhā (installation) and praṇāma (formal obeisance). In a Shaiva frame, these support Pashupata discipline by cultivating surrender of the paśu (individual soul) to Pati and acceptance of divinely ordained order.
