यतिप्रायश्चित्तविधानम्

Ascetic Atonements and Discipline

विधिना शास्त्रदृष्टेन संवत्सरमिति श्रुतिः ततः संवत्सरस्यान्ते भूयः प्रक्षीणकल्मषः पुनर्निर्वेदमापन्नश् चरेद्भिक्षुरतन्द्रितः

vidhinā śāstradṛṣṭena saṃvatsaramiti śrutiḥ tataḥ saṃvatsarasyānte bhūyaḥ prakṣīṇakalmaṣaḥ punarnirvedamāpannaś caredbhikṣuratandritaḥ

ശ്രുതി പറയുന്നു—ശാസ്ത്രം കാണിച്ച വിധിപ്രകാരം ഒരു വർഷം മുഴുവൻ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കണം. തുടർന്ന് വർഷാന്ത്യത്തിൽ, കല്മഷം കൂടുതൽ ക്ഷയിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ഭിക്ഷു വീണ്ടും നിർവേദത്തിൽ നിലകൊണ്ട് അപ്രമാദത്തോടെ ഭിക്ഷാടനം തുടരട്ടെ.
