उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

औदर्यैर्व्याधिभिः सर्वैर् मासेनैकेन मुच्यते एकादशेन भुञ्जीयाद् अन्नं चैवाभिमन्त्रितम्

ഉദരസംബന്ധമായ എല്ലാ വ്യാധികളിൽ നിന്നും അവൻ ഒരു മാസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ മോചിതനാകും. ഏകാദശവിധി അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച് മന്ത്രാഭിമന്ത്രിതമായ അന്നമേ ഭുജിക്കണം.
