उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

विनियोगः स विज्ञेय ऐहिकामुष्मिकं फलम् विनियोगजमायुष्यम् आरोग्यं तनुनित्यता

viniyogaḥ sa vijñeya aihikāmuṣmikaṃ phalam viniyogajamāyuṣyam ārogyaṃ tanunityatā

ഇതുതന്നെ യഥാർത്ഥ വിനിയോഗം (വിധിപൂർവക ആചരണം) എന്നു അറിയണം; ഇത് ഇഹലോകത്തിലും പരലോകത്തിലും ഫലം നൽകുന്നു. അത്തരം വിനിയോഗത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ആയുസ്സിന്റെ വർദ്ധന, ആരോഗ്യവും ദേഹസ്ഥൈര്യവും ലഭിച്ച്, പശു (ജീവൻ) പതി ശിവനിലേക്കു ശരിയായി അടുക്കുന്നു.
