उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

एवं लब्ध्वा शिवं ज्ञानं ज्ञात्वा जपविधिक्रमम्

evaṃ labdhvā śivaṃ jñānaṃ jñātvā japavidhikramam

ഇങ്ങനെ ശിവസംബന്ധമായ മംഗളജ്ഞാനം ലഭിച്ച്, ജപത്തിന്റെ വിധി-ക്രമം ശരിയായി അറിഞ്ഞ് साधകൻ മന്ത്രസാധനയുടെ ക്രമബദ്ധമായ ശാസനയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; അതുവഴി പശു പതി ശിവന്റെ കൃപയിലേക്കു നീങ്ങുന്നു.
