FAQs

It presents the phala (spiritual fruit) of Shaiva practice—by devotion that honors Shiva together with Bhavānī, the pashu (soul) gains divine proximity and enduring joy in a higher realm, implying liberation through Pati’s grace mediated by Shakti.

Shiva-tattva is implied through inseparability from Shakti: the liberated state is not mere relocation but participation in the imperishable power (avyayā) of the Divine, indicating Pati as the giver of liberation and Shakti as the sustaining presence of that state.

The verse points to Shakti-sahita Shaiva upāsanā—worship/meditation on Shiva together with Bhavānī—consistent with Pāśupata-oriented transformation where the pashu becomes ‘sadṛśa’ (aligned in qualities) through sustained devotion and purity of conduct.
