Pāśupata-vrata Māhātmya: Dvādaśa-Liṅga Mahāvrata, Month-wise Dravya, and Pūjā-krama
तस्माद्देवं यजेद्भक्त्या प्रतिमासं यथाविधि पौर्णमास्यां व्रतं कार्यं सर्वकामार्थसिद्धये
tasmāddevaṃ yajedbhaktyā pratimāsaṃ yathāvidhi paurṇamāsyāṃ vrataṃ kāryaṃ sarvakāmārthasiddhaye
അതുകൊണ്ട് ഭക്തിയോടെ പ്രതിമാസം വിധിപ്രകാരം ആ ദേവനായ ശിവനെ ആരാധിക്കണം. പൗർണ്ണമിദിനത്തിൽ സർവകാമാർത്ഥസിദ്ധിക്കായി വ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കണം.

Śiva is indicated as the Deva worthy of yajña and bhakti—Pati who responds to disciplined devotion; by approaching Him through vidhi and vrata, the pashu (individual soul) moves from pasha-bound striving toward siddhi under His grace.
A monthly Śiva-yajana (Linga-pūjā in practice) performed yathāvidhi, and a Pūrṇimā-vrata—an observance combining restraint, worship, and intention-setting aimed at sarva-kāmārtha-siddhi.
