रत्नानाम् अप्यलाभे तु हेम्ना वा राजतेन वा रजतस्याप्यलाभे तु ताम्रलोहेन कारयेत्

Transliteration

ratnānām apyalābhe tu hemnā vā rājatena vā rajatasyāpyalābhe tu tāmralohena kārayet

Translation

രത്നങ്ങൾ ലഭ്യമല്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്വർണ്ണം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വെള്ളി (രാജത) കൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മിക്കണം. വെള്ളിയും ലഭ്യമല്ലെങ്കിൽ ചെമ്പ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇരുമ്പ് കൊണ്ട് ചെയ്യിക്കണം—പതി (ശിവൻ) ലിംഗപൂജയ്ക്ക് അഭാവം തടസ്സമാകാതിരിക്കാൻ.
