यदुवंश-प्रवचनम्: हैहय-क्रोष्टु-वंशविस्तारः (कृतवीर्यार्जुनादि, ज्यामघ-विदर्भ-शात्वत-पर्यन्तम्)

भद्रश्रेण्यस्य दायादो दुर्दमो नाम पार्थिवः दुर्दमस्य सुतो धीमान् धनको नाम विश्रुतः

bhadraśreṇyasya dāyādo durdamo nāma pārthivaḥ durdamasya suto dhīmān dhanako nāma viśrutaḥ

ഭദ്രശ്രേണ്യന്റെ അവകാശി ദുര്ദമൻ എന്ന രാജാവായി. ദുര്ദമന്റെ പുത്രൻ ബുദ്ധിമാനും പ്രസിദ്ധനുമായ ധനകൻ എന്നായിരുന്നു.
