नगो नीलः कविः कालो मकरः कालपूजितः सगणो गणकारश् च भूतभावनसारथिः

Transliteration

nago nīlaḥ kaviḥ kālo makaraḥ kālapūjitaḥ sagaṇo gaṇakāraś ca bhūtabhāvanasārathiḥ

Translation

അവൻ നഗൻ—പർവ്വതസമ ദൃഢൻ; നീലൻ—ശ്യാമവർണ്ണൻ; കവി—ദർശി ഋഷി; കാലൻ—കാലസ്വരൂപൻ; മകരൻ—മകരചിഹ്നധാരിയായ പ്രഭു; കാലരൂപമായി പൂജിതൻ; സഗണൻ—ഗണങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയവൻ; ഗണകാരൻ—ഗണങ്ങളുടെ സ്രഷ്ടാവും നേതാവും; ഭൂതഭാവനസാരഥി—സകല ജീവികളെയും നയിച്ച് ഉയർത്തുന്ന സാരഥി।
