Suta Goswami
It frames the cosmos through pramāṇa (authoritative measurement), supporting the Shaiva view that Shiva as Pati is the orderly ground of creation (sṛṣṭi), within which linga-pūjā aligns the pashu (soul) to cosmic law (ṛta/dharma).
Though Shiva is not named, the verse reflects Shiva-tattva indirectly: a governed, intelligible universe where proportion and measure prevail—an expression of Pati’s niyati (ordering power) over the manifested worlds.
No direct pūjā-vidhi is stated; the takeaway is pramāṇa-buddhi—disciplined, reality-based discernment used in Shaiva practice to move the pashu from भ्रम (confusion) toward clarity, aiding Pāśupata-style inner steadiness.
