FAQs

It frames the cosmos as an ordered wheel moved by Vāyu and time-markers (Sun, Moon, stars), implying that Linga-puja harmonizes the Pashu (soul) with Shiva (Pati), the unseen governor of cosmic order.

Though Shiva is not named directly, the verse presents a regulated cosmic system—winds, clouds, luminaries, and zodiacal time—suggesting Shiva-tattva as the transcendent Pati who upholds and coordinates tattvas without being limited by them.

It points to prāṇa/Vāyu discipline as foundational—Pāśupata-oriented inner regulation of breath and timing (aligned with lunar-solar and nakṣatra cycles) to loosen Pāśa (bondage) and steady the mind for Shiva-upāsanā.
