अलिङ्ग-लिङ्ग-निरूपणं तथा प्राकृत-सृष्टिवर्णनम्

पञ्च बुद्धीन्द्रियाण्यस्य पञ्च कर्मेन्द्रियाणि तु शब्दादीनामवाप्त्यर्थं मनश्चैवोभयात्मकम्
Transliteration
pañca buddhīndriyāṇyasya pañca karmendriyāṇi tu śabdādīnāmavāptyarthaṃ manaścaivobhayātmakam
Translation
ഈ ദേഹധാരിക്ക് അഞ്ചു ജ്ഞാനേന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളും അഞ്ചു കർമ്മേന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്; മനസ്സ് ഉഭയാത്മകമായി ശബ്ദാദി വിഷയങ്ങളെ ഗ്രഹിക്കാനുള്ള ഉപാധിയാകുന്നു. പ്രകൃതി-ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പശു ഈ കരണമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളാൽ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; പാശവിമോചനത്തിനായി പതി ശിവനിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നതുവരെ।
