लिङ्गार्चनविधिक्रमः—शुद्धि, न्यास, आसनकल्पना, अभिषेक, स्तोत्र-प्रदक्षिणा

Adhyaya 27

वारुणेन च ज्येष्ठेन तथा वेदव्रतेन च तथान्तरेण पुण्येन सूक्तेन पुरुषेण च

vāruṇena ca jyeṣṭhena tathā vedavratena ca tathāntareṇa puṇyena sūktena puruṣeṇa ca

വരുണസൂക്തം, ജ്യേഷ്ഠസൂക്തം, വേദവ്രതാനുഷ്ഠാനം, മറ്റു പുണ്യസൂക്തങ്ങൾ—പുരുഷസൂക്തത്തോടുകൂടി—ഇവയാൽ പരമപതി ശിവനെ സ്തുതിക്കണം; വൈദികവചനങ്ങൾ പശുവിനെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ച് പാശബന്ധം ശിഥിലമാക്കുന്നു।
