स्नानविधिः — गायत्र्यावाहन, सूर्यवन्दन, तर्पण, पञ्चमहायज्ञ, भस्मस्नान, मन्त्रस्नान

ब्रह्मयज्ञादथ स्नानं कृत्वादौ सर्वथात्मनः तीर्थं संगृह्य विधिवत् प्रविशेच्छिबिरं वशी

brahmayajñādatha snānaṃ kṛtvādau sarvathātmanaḥ tīrthaṃ saṃgṛhya vidhivat praviśecchibiraṃ vaśī

ബ്രഹ്മയജ്ഞം സമാപ്തമാക്കിയ ശേഷം അവൻ ആദ്യം പൂർണ്ണമായ ആത്മശുദ്ധിയോടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്യണം. പിന്നെ വിധിപ്രകാരം തീർത്ഥജലം ശേഖരിച്ച്, സംയമിയായവൻ യഥാവിധി ശിബിരത്തിൽ (കർമ്മാവരണത്തിൽ) പ്രവേശിക്കണം.
