FAQs

It links external reverence to inner approach: true nearness to Shiva (Pati) is attained by dhyāna-yoga, the inward worship that fulfills the meaning of the Linga as the sign of the formless Lord.

Shiva is presented as Prabhu—the sovereign Pati—who is approachable through disciplined contemplation, indicating His grace-bestowing transcendence while remaining accessible to the meditative Pashu.

Dhyāna-yoga (meditative absorption) is emphasized—an inner limb aligned with Pāśupata orientation, where the soul loosens pāśa (bondage) by steady contemplation of Shiva.
