Naimiṣa-kṣetra-prādurbhāva and Jāpyeśvara-māhātmya — Nandī’s Birth, Japa, and Consecration

स वव्रे पुनरेवाहं जपेयं कोटिमीश्वरम् / तावदायुर्महादेव देहीति वरमीश्वर

sa vavre punarevāhaṃ japeyaṃ koṭimīśvaram / tāvadāyurmahādeva dehīti varamīśvara

അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും ഇതേ വരം അപേക്ഷിച്ചു—“ഈശ്വരനാമം ഒരു കോടി പ്രാവശ്യം ജപിക്കട്ടെ; ഹേ മഹാദേവാ, അത്രകാലം ആയുസ്സ് ദയചെയ്യുക”—ഇങ്ങനെ, ഹേ ഈശ്വരാ, വരം ചോദിച്ചു.
