A presiding deity (Śaiva-Vaiṣṇava synthesis) declaring perpetual presence together with Nārāyaṇa—functionally voiced in the narrative as a divine proclamation within the Kurma Purana’s tirtha-māhātmya context
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It implies that liberation is secured by abiding in the Lord’s presence: when the individual life-force is surrendered in a sanctified locus of divine immanence, rebirth ceases—pointing to the Atman’s release into its highest, Lord-related state (mokṣa).
The verse emphasizes surrender and God-centered departure (īśvara-prapatti) rather than a technique; in Kurma Purana’s broader Pāśupata-oriented frame, such surrender aligns with disciplined life, devotion, and remembrance of the Lord at life’s end as a culmination of practice.
By declaring co-abidance “together with Nārāyaṇa,” it reflects the Purana’s synthesis: sacred power and liberation are grounded in a unified divine presence where sectarian boundaries soften into a shared Supreme reality.
