Aśauca-vidhi — Rules of Birth/Death Impurity, Sapinda Circles, and Śrāddha Sequence

अर्धमासेन वैश्यस्तु शूद्रो मासेन शुध्यति / षड्रात्रेणाथवा सर्वे त्रिरात्रेणाथवा पुनः

ardhamāsena vaiśyastu śūdro māsena śudhyati / ṣaḍrātreṇāthavā sarve trirātreṇāthavā punaḥ

വൈശ്യൻ അർദ്ധമാസത്തിൽ ശുദ്ധനാകുന്നു; ശൂദ്രൻ ഒരു മാസത്തിൽ ശുദ്ധനാകുന്നു. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വിധിപൂർവ്വം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചാൽ എല്ലാവരും ആറു രാത്രികളിൽ, വീണ്ടും മൂന്നു രാത്രികളിലും ശുദ്ധരാകും.
