संध्यारात्र्योर्न कर्तव्यं राहोरन्यत्र दर्शनात् / देशानां च विशेषेण भवेत् पुण्यमनन्तकम्

രാത്രിയിൽ സന്ധ്യാകർമ്മം ചെയ്യരുത്—രാഹുവിന്റെ ദർശനം (ഗ്രഹണലക്ഷണം) ഉണ്ടായാൽ മാത്രം അപവാദം. പ്രത്യേക ദേശ-തീർത്ഥങ്ങളുടെ മഹിമകൊണ്ട് പുണ്യം അനന്തമാകുന്നു.
