न कूपमवरोहेत नावेक्षेताशुचिः क्वचित् / अग्नौ न च क्षिपेदग्निं नाद्भिः प्रशमयेत् तथा
na kūpamavaroheta nāvekṣetāśuciḥ kvacit / agnau na ca kṣipedagniṃ nādbhiḥ praśamayet tathā
കിണറ്റിൽ ഇറങ്ങരുത്; അശുചിയായവൻ ഒരിക്കലും അതിലേക്കു നോക്കരുത്. അഗ്നിയിൽ ഒന്നും എറിയരുത്; അതുപോലെ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ട് അഗ്നി അണയ്ക്കരുത്।
